Bridal Veil Lakes is a remote location with no lodging options in the immediate vicinity. As such, we’ve blocked rooms at two hotels that are within .3 miles of each other.
The hotels are 10 miles from downtown Portland (1 mile from a light rail station that leads directly to downtown among other areas). They are 18 miles from Bridal Veil Lakes.
Comfort Suites has a 10 passenger van available to shuttle people back and forth to the wedding venue. It is also our plan to add a 3rd party shuttle that will pick up and return people at designated times that are to be determined. It will pick up and return at both hotels.
We are also working on an activity for Friday, July 30 with a shuttle picking up from these two hotels so you should consider that when deciding where to stay. More info is available at our blog.
Looking For Something More?
Some people may want more of a “destination” hotel. Most options for this type of hotel are going to be downtown or in the vicinity and are not convenient to Bridal Veil Lakes.

| Getting around: | City light rail system (MAX) runs throughout downtown. Easy access to cabs and bus system. There will be NO TRANSPORTATION offered to Bridal Veil Lakes. |
| Hotels: | There are many hotels to choose from. We’ve had success in the past getting a 4 star hotel on Priceline for less than $70/night. Commonly won properties include The Benson, Hotel Vintage Plaza and deLuxe.
